North Carolina Students

NC State received 31,374 applications in the 2020. This year’s numbers represent a 1.5% increase in applications over the last year and 64% increase over the last 10 years.

NC State received applications from 98 counties out of 100 in North Carolina. In state applications totalled [# of in state applications] in the [year] cycle. These students came from densely populated RDU and Charlotte and from the smallest counties in NC. Primarily, applications came from Wake, Mecklenburg, and Guilford counties.
